About Us
- Cherryl Wells and Sharon Groves began trading as The Beading Bug in 2003. We spent many years conducting Beading Parties in Sydney and Canberra. We also spent many happy hours selling our handmade jewellery and accessories at various markets. Since moving to North Queensland we have conducted classes in Mossman and Townsville. We also have experience making crystal bouquets, boutonnieres and table decorations for special events like school formals, birthday parties and weddings.
- The Beading Bug has diversified to include other handmade and sustainable products. These include:
- Handmade Cards for All Occasions and other papercraft products
- Handmade Beeswax Wraps which are a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to plastic wrap
- Handmade raffia hats, bags, baskets and homewares imported from Madagascar
